This historic coaching inn dates back to the late 1700's. Set in 4.5 acres, the Inn is located just East of the village of Kirkmichael. The river Ardle passes in front of the Inn as does the Cataran Trail on its way from Bridge of Cally to Enochdhu.

The inn has 5 spacious bedrooms (3 double rooms, 1 twin room and 1 family room) all are en-suite with either a power-shower or a bath, TV, radio-alarm and tea/coffee making facilities. There are Gun cabinets in 3 of the rooms.
As the rooms have recently been refurbished, pets can be accommodated, but only by prior arrangement.
There are also 3 newly refurbished self-catering cottages, allowing you to be self-catering or take meals in the restaurant as preferred.

Restaurant:
The restaurant is fully licensed and serves a range of local and traditional dishes, using produce locally sourced wherever possible. There are extensive wine, beer .and whisky lists.
Meals can be taken in the Restaurant or Bar as preferred. Options for both vegetarians and children are available. Special dietary requirements can be catered for.
Bar:
The fully-licensed public bar (the only room in the Inn where smoking is permitted) offers the best of Scottish and English Real Ales as well as guest lagers from around the world. We have an extensive selection of single malt whiskies and a carefully selected wine list. A Bar-menu is also available
Our woodland beer garden provides an attractive setting for the long summer evenings.
Lounge:
The lounge, with its open fireplace, is a welcome retreat for both residents and visitors alike.
