The Wallow is a ranch style bungalow, set in a 2 acre garden haven with herbaceous borders, pond and wild areas, mature trees, and herbaceous perennials plant nursery. Situated in countryside yet close to town, 2 miles (5 mins by car), with adajacent footpath / cycleway giving very easy access to town and next door (300 metres) pub / restaurant. The Annexe Suite has its own entrance and comprises a double bedroom, large bathroom and private lounge with multi-fuel stove and television - ideal for cosy winter evenings. The Orchard End is located within the main house, encompassed by superb garden views. It is a private suite comprising double bedroom, large bathroom and private area lounge with television. Backing onto a WW2 airfield (Rougham), unfarmed with abundant wildlife and access to the National cycle route 51 to the front of the property, gives plenty of interest for the nature lover and cyclist. - some cycles available if you wish.

Directions How to get to The Wallow Arriving at BSE on the A14 from the Newmarket direction take the third Bury exit – East (or coming from the Ipswich direction it will be the first exit), turn left off the slip road (or right if you are coming from Ipswich) and then, following signs for Thurston negotiate four roundabouts (taking you past Sainsbury’s and through the industrial site and housing) on the fifth roundabout take right turn to Thurston. We are about a mile along Mount Rd. from this roundabout. After the new housing development you will see the Flying Fortress pub set back on your right (just after a new roundabout), we are the next property along this stretch of road (approx. ¼ ml. on right) but are hidden behind trees. Once you leave the 30 mph limit and as soon as you see the S bend sign slow down to turn right into the drive. We are right on the apex of the bend and there are reflector posts at the entrance. As you turn in you will see a ‘Plants for Sale’ sign.
