Plas-y-Wern is an old Welsh stone farmhouse and three cottages, which have been converted from the original stone and slate farm buildings. These are set in a private courtyard and seven acres of grounds, on a coastal hillside overlooking the Marine Heritage Coast of Cardigan Bay in West Wales. The emphasis here is on a peaceful country holiday. You can enjoy the lovely panoramic country and sea views all year round. In summer you can sit out in your garden and watch the sun set over the bay. The Cottages The Hayloft and The Granary are both available for holidays. Both have been renovated to an extremely high standard and furnished throughout in a country style. They are let on a self-catering basis and are fully equipped. The price includes electric, gas, central heating and bed linen. Towels are not supplied. Dogs are welcome by arrangement and there is ample safe car parking. Short breaks are available – please ask for details. Camping and Caravanning We welcome tourers, motorcaravans and campers and are listed as a certificated site in The Camping and Caravanning Club. Please ask for details. Bed & Breakfast B&B accommodation is available in The Studio (a self contained annexe which sleeps 3 + cot if required). It has its own en-suite shower room together with a colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a sea view. Plas Bach Caravan A two bedroomed holiday caravan, equipped for four persons is available for holidays. It is let on a self-catering basis and is fully equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. It is situated in its own garden in the corner of the field overlooking the bay and possibly has the best views of all! The price includes electric, gas, central heating and bed linen. Directions From M4 At the end of the motorway, carry on the A48 to Carmarthen. At the roundabout take the last exit and follow the red sign to the Hospital A&E. Go past the hospital and turn right at the next roundabout (A484 to Cardigan). At Newcastle Emlyn turn right to the town centre, go through the town, over the bridge and turn left onto the B4333 to Aberporth and MOD. Keep going for about 6 miles until the crossroads with the A487. Turn right onto the Aberystwyth road and after one mile turn left (at red TCD sign) for Tresaith/Penbryn. Then left at the first cottage and follow the signs to Plas-y-Wern B&B. From Aberystwyth About 30 miles south on the A487 (to Cardigan), go through Sarnau village. Approximately one mile after the end of the 40mph zone take the second right to Tresaith (also red TCD sign). Then left at the first cottage and follow the signs to Plas-y-Wern B&B.
