You will be made very welcome at Iona Guest House, which has been awarded 2 Stars for its 'Bed and Breakfast' accommodation by the Scottish Tourist Board.
Our House is a stone built Victorian semi-detached villa dating from about 1860, the accommodation in the spacious rooms reflects the gracious life-style of that period.
It was extended around 1900 to provide more accommodation, and has been fully modernised, with full central heating and double glazed windows, many of the original features like the ornate plaster cornicing and ceiling roses have been preserved.

For those who like to read there are a good selection of Books and Periodicals, and some Games and Jigsaw Puzzles.

The Guesthouse has very easy access to and from all the main routes through South Ayrshire, and while it is convenient for the busy Ayr Town Centre, it is far enough away to avoid the one way system and parking restrictions.
The guest house is well situated in the South of Ayr, close to Alloway and the Brig O'Doon. A very pleasant drive along the coast will bring you to Culzean Castle, and there are a large number of Golf Courses within 20 miles, including 2 British "Open" Venues.
We will help you to make the most of your holiday, by sharing our local knowledge about the wide range of Visitor Attractions.
