Dunston Guest house hotel is a delightful Victorian house full of character, with a warm friendly atmosphere, providing 1st class B&B accommodation. Run by the owners Ann & Roy Dakin since 1983. Pleasantly situated in a quiet, tree-lined residential area, only 5 minutes walk from the historical town centre of Bury St Edmunds. The Dunston's seventeen rooms are decorated individually with comfort and a relaxed mood in mind. Rooms are ensuite & ground floor rooms are available. All rooms have: Colour TVs, Tea/Coffee tray & Clock Radio.

Ironing Facilities and Hairdryers are available on request. Relax in the well-furnished guests lounge with TV, drinks, maps, books and local information at hand with a sun lounge overlooking the flower garden. If you prefer a different pace then the Coach House annex is also available across from the main house with 5 rooms offering the same in room facilities.
Large groups are welcome and can often be accommodated but please book well in advance where possible.

The Dunston is a favourite with hard working reps. and many other company personel who need to stay and work away from home up to 4 nights a week.
It is also a favourite with tourists, many returning on an annual basis or more frequently. If 'weekending' in the town for an event or perhaps coming to the Bury Festival and for those visiting their family and friends maybe for celebrations such as a wedding then Dunston Guest House offers a warm welcome.
