Chy-an-Mor is an elegant Grade II listed building which has been carefully refurbished and upgraded to provide quality and comfortable accommodation. Since 1997, the Hotel has held the AA's top B/B in Penzance with Five Diamond (Premier Collection) standard, also gaining entry by merit to Which? "The Good Bed & Breakfast Guide", the Frommer's guide, "Britain's Best B/B's", and most recently continuing an excellent relationship with the Michelin organisation with a recommendation in the "Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2005" and various other guides from France to Japan.

Regent Terrace (built in the 1830's) is in a quiet area overlooking Mount's Bay and the Promenade. It is ideally situated for train, bus, boat, safari trips, coastal footpath walks and discovering the history and beauty of picturesque Cornwall.
The centre of town is just a 5 to 10 minute walk away, as are the harbour, promenade, museums, bus and train stations, and gardens. There are many excellent place close by to eat with menus and prices to suit all tastes and pockets.

Directions
Arriving by Coach or Train:
The bus/coach and railway stations are sited next to each other (along with Penzance's Tourist Information Centre) and Penzance is the end of the line for the railway so there is no danger of missing your stop! The arial photograph above has a red dotted line that shows the route to the Chy-an-Mor Hotel, the description is as follow:
Exit the railway / bus station and walk past the Tourist Information Centre until the pedestrian crossing opposite the entrance to the Wharf Side Shopping Centre. Cross the road here and continue to walk along Wharf Road passing through the harbour area, past the Trinity Lighthouse Museum and Dolphin Tavern until you see the Jubilee Pool on the left. After the pedestrian crossing take the second turn on the right into Regent Terrace, the Chy-an-Mor Hotel is located towards the eastern end of the Terrace.
Alternatively you can take a taxi from the station that will take 2-3 minutes.
Arriving by Car:
Take the A30 to Penzance pass the Heliport on your right, follow signs to Town Centre, The Scillonian Ferry and Newlyn. Pass the railway and bus stations keeping to the left hand lane pass through the harbour area, past the Trinity House Lighthouse Museum and Dolphin Tavern until you see the Jubilee Pool on the left. After the pedestrian crossing take the second turn on the right into Regent Terrace. The Chy-an-Mor Hotel is located towards the eastern end of the Terrace - please use the ample private parking opposite us.
Flying into Newquay Airport:
Cornwall's main airport is at Newquay and is served by daily flights from London Gatwick and London Stanstead airports. For guests arriving at Newquay it is probably easiest to pick up a hire car from the airport to complete the journey to Penzance.
