Once an old vicarage, Allt yr Afon ( Welsh name meaning "wood by the river") is a country house hotel in Pembrokeshire and was bought by Andrew Stirling in 1976.
There were only half a dozen bedrooms then - now we have 22 in the main hotel, 4 in the cottage annex and 2 in the hotel bungalow.
Several of the key staff have been at Wolfscastle for many years and the hotel is very much a family affair offering a professional service in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
We are situated in the small village of Wolfscastle near Haverfordwest and just 7 miles from the Fishguard Irish ferry port.

A la Carte and bar meals are served in our hotel bar and restaurant.Over the years we have built up an enviable reputation for good food and our use of fresh local produce. Several times a year we hold Gourmet nights in our restaurant.
We have a "no smoking" policy in all our bedrooms. We have one single room and the rest are twin, double or family rooms. Nine rooms are in the old house and the rest in the new wing.
