The Duisdale was built as a great hunting lodge for the Chief of Clan Macdonald in the 1860’s and has changed very little in all that time albeit has been converted into a first class hotel and provides all the amenities demanded by the discerning traveller in the 21st Century without losing the Victorian influence which makes us so different to all other venues on Skye.
Located to the South of the Island in an idyllic area known as the Garden of Skye the Duisdale stands proudly midway between the Skye Bridge (tolls removed) and the Armadale ferry terminal and en-route to the fishing port of Mallaig and Fort William beyond.
