Latchmead built in 1930's - originally a working farm situated in the heart of the Essex countryside now family run B&B. We provide excellent overnight facilities for guests travelling to Stansted Airport. We have a no smoking policy. Internet, fax and photocopying available upon request. We recommend eating at the George it's just minutes away and the food is superb. We can book a table for you if you request it at the time of booking. Our well decorated cosy rooms include some of the following: remote control colour TV, tea and coffee facilities, towels, hairdryers, alarm clock, bathrobes. Travel cot available. A free shuttle service to the airport is available from 4.30 a.m. through to 9.30 a.m. Please note if you are flying into Stansted with connecting flights the next day - there is no need to take a taxi, we will collect you up until 11.00 p.m. Breakfast served from 7.30- 9.00, prior to this take away breakfast is provided or an early starter tray in your room. Various breakfast options are available.

Directions From Junction 8 M11 follow the signs for Bishop's Stortford town centre. Go past the Red Cow and at the traffic lights, just after the pub turn left into London Road. Go straight until you reach a mini roundabout and go straight over into Hallingbury Road.Follow this road for approx 1.5 miles until you see the sign post for Little Hallingbury. Slow down and indicate right as Port Lane is the first turning on the right once you go through the sign post. Drive past a bungalow on your left right to the bottom and Latchmead is at the end of the lane on the left.
