Parc Cres is within 5 minutes walk to
the Village of Mullion where there are several excellent restaurants and a
lovely old 16th century thatched Inn.
There is two sandy beaches, Polurrian
and Poldhu Cove, and a small fishing
harbour.
Mullion cove is a small attractive working harbour that is protected by two sturdy stone sea walls to protect it from the gales that rage across mounts bay in the winter. The harbour was paid for by Lord Robarytes of Lanhydrock as recompense to the local fishermen after several disastrous pilchard fishing seasons and was completed in 1895. It is owned by the National Trust.
