Lynebank is a privately owned hotel pleasantly situated in the peaceful hamlet of Westlinton. Conveniently situated 3 miles from the M6, junction 44 and 5.5 miles from Gretna Green. The property is a Grade II listed building and was originally a staging post for the London to Edinburgh stagecoach in the 17th century.
The owner, Duncan Toddhunter, prides himself on providing a warm, friendly atmosphere which they have found entices their guests to return time and time again, helping to forge long lasting friendships.

Lynebank Hotel has 12 tastefully decorated rooms, offering single, twin, double and family accommodation. For our wedding receptions, we also offer a romantic bridal suite complete with four-poster bed.
All rooms are en-suite and centrally heated with colour TV and complementary tea/coffee making facilities.
The hotel can provide an iron/ironing board, hairdryer, alarm clock, shoe cleaning utensils and a portable cot. An industrial washer and dryer are on site and 'simple' clothes washing/drying can be arranged. Storage for bikes, sports wear etc can be arranged with prior notice and there is ample car parking facilities.
We also offer to our guests the use of a Lounge, Bar, Conservatory and 30 seat A La Carte Restaurant.
Pets are welcome by arrangement.
