San Esteban enjoys panoramic views of the magnificent Clare coastline. This comfortable well appointed home of Michael and Anne Mc Laughlin offers the discerning traveller a haven of tranquillity set in 8 acres of grounds. Known for high levels of hospitality, guests from all over the world enjoy the experience of being part of an Irish family. A lovely place to stay! The house is a Traditional Irish Cottage with 4 guest bedrooms giving a maximum of 8 guests at any time. "We feel we provide a level of personal attention which would not be possible in a larger establishment in the more developed tourist areas", say hosts Michael and Anne. During the summer months there is music most nights in one or other of the pubs and this is for the most part the locals enjoying themselves. Visitors are given a very friendly welcome, as people are still genuinely interested in meeting people from abroad. For the traveller who wants to have the chance to meet and talk to Irish prople this is the place to come to. Being situated on the coast we can advise on Swimming, Boat Trips to see the dolphins, going Sea Angling, Bird Watching or arrange either leisurely or challenging, but never dull, Cliff Walks.

Directions Doonbeg, a lovely small village, is picturesque and unspoiled by mass tourism, and remains a place where visitors can get to meet the locals while out walking or in the pub for a drink at night. We are just 1 mile from Doonbeg Village which is situated on the N67, between Kilkee and Miltown Malbay.
