Welcome to Haxton Down: a working beef and sheep farm set in its own peaceful valley ½ a mile from the village of Bratton Fleming.
Explore the fields where you will find calves and lambs, or catch a glimpse of badgers, foxes or the wild Red Deer of Exmoor.

The farmhouse dates in parts from the 1600's up until 1850 and offers a relaxing comfortable base with access at all times. It retains many original features such as oak beams, open fireplaces and bread ovens.
It is well furnished with a mix of interesting antiques and modern comforts. The dining room has separate tables, and hot and cold drinks freely available at all times.
We offer a double bedroom with en-suite facilities and ample room for a single bed or cot. Also there is a family suite comprising of double and twin children's room with bathroom.
This is available to couples or singles as well as families and charged on a per person basis.
All rooms have central heating, TV, tea trays and are tastefully decorated with many homely touches and extras.

We are ideally situated being ½ hour drive from the glorious scenery of the moors, the sandy beaches of the west coast and attractions galore.
Steam trains and Exmoor Zoo only 10 minutes away. Young guests love helping feed lambs and calves and everyone is welcome to watch farm activities in season.
