The Lion Hotel is ideally situated in the centre of one of Derbyshire's most historic towns - Belper. It was in this town that Jedediah Strutt first established the first cotton mill in 1776 using the power of the River Derwent. The Hotels frontage was built during the same period and having been totally refurbished, the Hotel provides an extremely high level of comfort and service.
