Sinnington Common Farm is a working family farm with 135 acres.
It is set in beautiful countryside on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors in Ryedale.
Our small cottages have been sympathetically converted from farmbuildings maintaining their character and offer accommodation for up to 4 people. Penny's Place has a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bath & shower). Bruno's Lodge has a twin bedded room with a bed settee in the sitting room. Both cottages, have clock/radio/t.v. DVD and small well-euipped kitchen. There is plenty of off-road parking also garden furniture.
Greystones (ready Easter 2006) sleeps up to 6 with two en-suite bedrooms (1 doulbe, 1 twin or super kingsize). Panoramic views from all windows and a large garden with garden furniture and barbeque.

Our many farmyard animals include goats (with kids in the summer), poultry, cattle, ponies, shire horse, donkeys, pot-bellied pigs, friendly farm cats, ewes and lambs (pet lambs to feed at certain times of the year) and Max the hyper dog.
You are welcome to bring your pet and we have a picturesque farm walk with wildlife to see including foxes hares, occasional deer, curlews, partridge, skylarks and pheasant.
Meet our horses ranging from Sally-Ann a shire horse, Polly a Shire cross cob, Mickie a cob, Beauty a rescue Fell pony, Clumpy a rescue Gypsy pony who we are hoping is due to foal in May to Dusty a rescue Shetland cross.

The ground floor accommodation adjacent to the farmhouse comprises one double and one twin room (bunk beds are available). Each room has its own separate outside entrance so guests can come and go freely.
The rooms are spacious and well-appointed with colour TV, en-suite bathroom with bath & shower, radio clocks, comfortable chairs and a kitchenette with fridge and microwave. The twin room has full disabled facilities and has been given the seal of approval by various wheelchair users.
The rooms have uninterrupted views of open countryside and overlook a paddock where ewes and lambs often graze. Meals are served in the farmhouse dining room (special diets are catered for by arrangement) Most of the meat is home-produced. In addition, the area has an abundance of pubs and restaurants serving good quality food.
