2 Cottages - An imaginative conversion of fine 1720's brick and tile stable - block adjoining the owners' farm house has resulted in two delightful holiday cottages in the hamlet of Edlaston. High above the Peak District market town of Ashbourne (3 miles by car), the cottages enjoy fine views across to Thorpe Cloud and Dovedale in the distance. These quality cottages will delight the couple or family party who wish to enjoy the lovely wooded fringes of Derbyshire's Peak Park. There are many places of interest within easy driving distance, including Alton Towers (20 mins), Matlock Bath, Buxton, Chatsworth, Hadden Hall, Sudbury Museum of Childhood, Tissington museum at Ripley and many others. The area is ideal for walking and exploring the spectacular scenery in the limestone dales of the Peak Park. Situated in the heart of England, the Peak District National Park lies at the southern end of the Pennines between Sheffield and Manchester. It was the first Park to be set up in Britain in 1951 and covers parts of six counties. Country pub 500 yards away (Restaurant and bar meals available).

Directions From Ashbourne take the A515 South(signposted Litchfield). After 1.5 miles (approx) at the top of a steep hill take a left turn signposted Edlaston and Wyaston. Follow the lane past Edlaston Mews Barn conversions and then past two houses on the left. After approximately 50 metres, at a sharp left bend in the road turn right up a gravel track go to the end, the cottages are on the right, past the farmhouse.
