Cornmill Lodge is a vegetarian / vegan guest house using organic fairtrade produce where possible - at least 80% of our ingredients are organic.
It is fifteen minutes walk from York Minster, and the city walls.
You can reach us by bus number 1 from the station, getting off at Rose Street.
We also have our own offstreet carpark.

This is the dining room where you can have a delicious vegetarian or vegan breakfast, without having to smell the bacon or kippers cooking for other guests.
We use fairtrade organic coffee and teas or herb teas.
Half the menu is suitable for vegans, including buckwheat pancakes and tofu.
We also have a choice of gluten free cereals and bread.

The bedrooms are all ensuite, and completely smokefree. We have 3 double bedrooms, one of which can be used as either a twin or family room.
All toiletries are free from animal products and cruelty free, and include organic ingredients.

Directions
From A1,come towards York on the A59 and follow signs to the district hospital.
After passing York Saint John College, Union Terrace coach park, be in right hand lane at the next traffic lights.
Take right hand fork, when you will be on Haxby Road.
Turn right after the pedestrian crossing, then right again between two houses. You will be in our carpark.
