Bay Trees is a large chalet style bungalow in the Historic Cinque Port Liberty town of Brightlingsea, Colchester Essex. Convenient for all amenities. 15 Minutes from Colchester, convenient for Wivenhoe, University, Arlesford, Thorrington and Harwich. 3 rooms available, 2 on the ground floor. 1 single, 1 twin and on the upper floor a large ensuite room offered as a twin or a triple. All rooms have TV, refreshment tray, alarm clock, and hairdryer. Breakfast is served in the dining room at the front of the house. Wherever possible produce used is local and freshly cooked. Special diets catered for. Evening meals are served Monday to Thursday (prior booking required) - Packed lunches are also available ( prior booking) We are walker, sailor,cylist and birdwatcher friendly. Brightlingsea is located on the unspoilt North-East , and is a quiet town of much historical interest. There are many Sites of Special Scientific Interest. Its a great place for walking, bird watching and water sports.

Directions Enter Brightlingsea from Thorrington Cross on the B1029 – (approx. 3 miles from property) – you will see a Church on the hill to your right – road bends sharp left. Continue along this road (Church Road) - You will pass the Colne High School on your left- Continue until you pass the Cherry Tree Pub – on your right. Take the next left after the Pub into Ladysmith Avenue—opposite a shop called Scooby Snacks. At the bottom of Ladysmith Avenue you will come into Victoria Place (you will see landmarks such as Lloyds TSB, Nat West on your left hand side and St James Church) Take the next left after the Church into Richard Avenue (there is a shop called Triggy’s on the right hand corner of Richard Avenue) Travel up Richard Avenue—this bears sharp right into Edward Avenue At the end of Edward Avenue - turn left - there are 2 large bungalows on your left—Bay Trees, 3 Stanley Avenue is the 2nd of these.
