Brooklands Cottage was built in the early decades of the 19th Century to accommodate mainly Spanish and Portugal migrants, who came to work at the local collieries. At the foot of the Brecon Beacons, Brooklands Cottage is situated in the quite picturesque and rural village of Caehopkin, just outside the small town of Ystradgynlais. The property is 20 miles North of Swansea, Cardiff being just a 45-minute journey, other market towns such as Brecon, Merthyr Tydiff and Neath are all within half hour travelling time.
The valleys of South Wales are full of surprises - dramatic natural beauty, country and wildlife parks, forests, cycle trails, golf courses and a huge range of tourist attractions and beaches.
