Situated in the heart of the village, and on the waterfront with stunning views over the Bay, Caol Scotnish, and the head of Loch Sween, Ardtornish (the house on the hill) offers various choices for self catering accommodation in Tayvallich, Argyll. As its name suggests, this house also benefits from an elevated position which really does give it the best view of all the houses around the bay. You look out over the bay, the outer bay and across the head of Loch Sween to the Achnamara shore beyond. The house receives large doses of sunlight due to floor to ceiling windows at the front. The interior is well laid out and furnished to a very high standard with a modern feel (although still retaining a wood-burning stove to keep out the winter chill).
Many an hour has been spent on the balcony of this house, or in front of the higher windows - watching activity on the bay.

The house sleeps up to twelve people (ten in five bedrooms, with a further two on a sofa bed) - ample accommodation for a large family gathering, or for friends to get together. Wooden and laminate floors throughout the ground floor make it easy to keep clean.
