The Glenforsa Hotel is situated on the sheltered east coast of Mull at the narrow waist of the Island beside its only airfield - a non intrusive, superbly-maintained grass strip over 730 metres in length.
Patrons who bring their own aircraft have ample, safe parking facilities adjacent to the Hotel.
Oban's Airport, Connel, is only ten minutes' flying time away and has aviation fuel. Glenforsa's runway is east/west - Connel's north/south. Glenforsa, (Norse for Glen of the swiftly-flowing river) is ideally situated for visiting the sacred Island of Iona, Treshnish and the remarkable little island of Staffa.

Mull is the third-largest island off the British Isles - with a land area of 353 square miles but with a tiny population of under 2,800. (Compare this with Jersey - 45 square miles and 89,361 residents!) Outdoor pursuits include angling, bird-watching and hill walking - Ben More - at 3,169 ft - our only Munro - is a mere twelve miles from The Glenforsa Hotel.
