Bowden Close House is a large Victorian property set in an acre of beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the stunning coastline of Lyme Bay, just 4 miles from Teignmouth to the north and Torquay to the south. It is a short walk from the South West Coastal Path and the picturesque cove of Maidencombe Beach. Dartmoor with all its many attractions and the lovely towns of South Devon, including Totnes and Dartmouth, are all within easy reach.

All our self catering accommodation is two-bedroomed, tastefully decorated and furnished and consists of 3 apartments in a purpose built extension to the main house; 2 two storey self-contained wings and a detached bungalow in the grounds. There is ample parking in our private car park and guests are welcome to use our garden, mainly to the south of the house, which takes advantage of the beautiful views.

Just down the hill from Bowden Close House you will find a delightful thatched country inn situated close to the picturesque cove of Maidencombe Beach and the South West Coastal Path. It has a lovely large garden and a highly popular restaurant. Inland from Bowden Close House there are many delightful villages with popular traditional pubs and friendly locals!
