The Invicta is a friendly family run hotel, situated on Plymouth Hoe in the heart of Devon, England. Built in the 1820's this elegant Victorian Building overlooks the statue of Sir Francis Drake and the bowling green but within easy walking distance of the historic Barbican and the city centre. The hotel has 23 fully en-suite bedrooms comprising single, double, twin and family rooms. Each of the rooms include tea/coffee-making facilities, a hairdryer, colour television and radio, direct dial telephone and broadband internet access. Directions Plymouth Airport is less than 6 miles from the hotel. Flights are to London Gatwick, Manchester & Jersey. Take the A386 towards the City Centre and continue straight over the flyover into Outland Road. At the large junction past the football ground filter left into Alma Road. Continue down the hill and go straight over the roundabout. Get into the middle lane before next roundabout marked City Centre. At the roundabout turn right. At the end of Western Approach is a cross roads with traffic lights (again be in the middle lane.) Continue straight across into The Crescent/Notte Street. At the fourth set of traffic lights turn right into Lockyer Street. Follow the road up to the crossroads and you will see the Invicta on the corner to your right. Car parking is to the rear of the hotel.
