Straiton, voted one of Scotlands top 10 villages, is set in the glen approaching the Galloway Forest. The village is known as "The Rambling Territory" due to the number of walks available. It is ideally suited to access the golf, fishing and walking in Ayrshire. Two double rooms, to a very high standard, are available, each with TV and tea/ coffee making facilities. WiFi is available.

Straiton is centrally located between the River Girvan and River Doon valleys. Nearby towns and villages include: Kirkmichael, Dailly, Crosshill, Maybole, Girvan, Minishant, Alloway, Ayr, Kirkoswald, Patna, Dalmellington and Glentrool. Straiton is well located for reaching local attractions such as Culzean Castle, Blairquhan Castle, Burns Cottage, Loch Doon, Galloway Forest, Glentrool (7stanes mountain biking), Golf courses (such as Turnberry, Royal Troon and Prestwick). We are also a short journey from Glasgow Prestwick Airport
