The Cottage is in the Galway/Offaly area, three miles from the popular riverside town of Banagher in Co. Offaly. The wide bridge which crosses the River Shannon to County Galway opens the way to tour the west of Ireland. Banagher is famous for its Irish music pubs, its river cruises, Bog walks and rail tours, great Fishing, (both coarse and salmon and trout.), Excellent super markets and shops, Restaurants, and Hotels. Most of the pubs serve really good food also.
