Situated above the thatched roofs of the picturesque Old Village, the Fernbank Hotel is ideally located for both the world-famous Shanklin Chine, the downs and the six miles of 'Blue Flag' sandy beach of Sandown Bay. Erected in 1857, The Fernbank Hotel was originally a luxury Victorian villa and only became an hotel in 1949. As an intimate, smaller hotel (we have 19 beautifully decorated and well equipped rooms), we endeavour to offer the very best service and standards to our guests - always seeking to go that little bit further, as we believe small touches can make all the difference, thus making your holiday that bit more memorable.
