the heart of England. In Warwick there are many buildings of historic interest, the most famous being Warwick Castle. This is the finest medieval castle in England. Inhabited continuously since the middle ages, and was the home of the Earls of Warwick until recently. The castle is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the country. Within the grounds there are well tended gardens combined with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Other features include the armory, dungeons, towers and souvenir shops.

There is also the Lord Leycester Hospital, parts of which date from the late 14th century. In 1571 it was established as a hospital for old soldiers and their wives. It is still used for retired ex-servicemen. Saint Mary's Church dominates the surrounding countryside and has the magnificent Beauchamp Chapel. Parks and gardens are another attraction, as are the many antique shops and museums, all within a relatively small area. We are sure you will enjoy a visit to our beautiful area.

With the "left over" bricks this terrace of blue brick buildings were built to house the officers and their families.
