The Corner House is an old Merchant Seamans house dating back to the 1800's. It has been tastefully decorated and maintained to keep it,s original features. All our rooms are large and light and furnished to a high standard. There is Tea/Coffee making facilities, radio alarm and remote controlled colour T.V. The dining room is where our guests experiance a homely cooked English breakfast by Chris the ex Royal Naval chef. Vegetarians and other diets are no problem, we aim to please all tastes. Tea, Coffee preserves anhd toast all come to accompany your chosen breakfast.

Directions From East or West, leave A39 at the roundabout west of the Torridge Bridge. Follow the signs for Bideford Town Centre. Approximately 1 mile to traffic lights, outside Morissons Superstore, go straight ahead for 100 metres and then turn right onto Chingswell Street. The Corner House is directly in front of you. From the South(A386) travel along Bideford Quay, around a long left hand bend and then 150 metres turn left into Chingswell Street. The Corner House is directly in front of you.
