Hafan Deg is a unique family run B&B in a small village in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, only a few minutes by car from the market towns of Mold & Ruthin & within easy reach of Manchester, Liverpool & the historic city of Chester. Maeshafn has a friendly inn with very good food & there are other inns & restaurants within a ten minute drive. Hafan Deg has three guestrooms with super-king size or twin beds, ensuite & private shower rooms with power showers, & colour TV, Freeview, wi-fi & tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms are ground floor & the family suite has a spacious double/twin room, a single room, & a bathroom. Breakfast is served in the dining hall with its Welsh slate floor, open-beamed ceiling & wood burning stove. In addition to the traditional full breakfasts there's a wide choice of fresh fruits, yogurts, kedgeree, home made salmon fish cakes & home baked bread & preserves. Guests can relax on the book-lined gallery overlooking the dining hall with views through the floor to ceiling window towards the Clwydian Range & Offa's Dyke Footpath.

Directions From Mold take the A494 in the Ruthin direction for about 2 miles. After passing the Rainbow Inn go over the brow of the hill & turn left onto the Ffordd Maeshafn. After about a mile turn right into the village, go past the red telephone box, & start dropping down hill. After the pink bungalow & the white house, Hafan Deg is next on the right (about 150 metres after the telephone box).
