We refer to the Swan Hotel as being in Staines; however it actually stands on the south bank overlooking the Thames by Staines bridge in the Hythe, Egam.
The present building is eighteenth century, with later additions, although thereare references to " The Swan" as far back as the fifthteenth century.

The Hotel has a large comfortable bar which overlooks a well shaded riverside terrace, making it an idyllic spot for a quiet drink and a bite to eat on a summers night.
For those winter months, what better than to sit in front of a roaring log fire with a glass of Fullers Ale.
However if its a meal you require then we have a seperate restaurant that overlooks the river so you can enjoy watching the passing boats and the Swans on the river whilst enjoying good home cooked food.

The Swan has eleven bedrooms to offer, all are en-suite. Each room has a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and direct dial telephone. Hair dryers and irons are available on request.
The River Suite has a fourposter bed and a magnificent bay window over the river making it perfect for a romantic break.
Whilst maintaining an "Away from it all" atmosphere the hotel is in fact in the centre of Staines business area and only a couple of minutes walk from the main shops
