Ashmount is the former home of Dr Amos Ingham, physician to Charlotte & Patrick Brontê. The house, steeped in history with wonderful, original features, is only a three minute walk from the quaint cobbled main street and the world famous Brontê Parsonage.

We have ample private parking, and three quarters of an acre of wonderful gardens with fantastic views of the moors for you to enjoy and relax in. You can even visit Dr Ingham's private prayer room in our garden!!

Most of the furniture is antique and much of the original interior of the house is still intact including our beautiful stained glass windows. Fresh flowers are standard in all rooms however, if you require anything extra we will be happy to oblige.
