Situated between Wincanton on the A303 and Sherborne on the A30 and less than 5 miles from eitherl it is very easily accessible from all major routes yet is well protected from the hustel and bustle. Although quiet, there are a host of opportunities for exploring.

Nearby there are over 1,00 miles of paths and tracks suitable for cycling or walking. Sherborne with its historic Abbey, 2 castles (one built by Sir Walter Raleigh), 15th centruy almshouses and famous schools is well worth a visit as are Bath or the Dorset coast if you wish to stray a little further.
