Buckingham’s Award Winning Hotel is the gateway to the Peak District National Park and Chatsworth House plus many more attractions. It has many individual period features. Originally a pair of Victorian semi-detached houses that have been sympathetically converted into this attractive, comfortable and relaxed hotel in Newbold, a residential area of Chesterfield. Nick and Tina Buckingham are well known for their warm and friendly hotel, which specialises in superlative food. Our new restaurant offers a new unique dimension in food. We have no opening or closing times and no menus. We offer all our guests truly superlative food, just let us know your dislikes, allergies or dietary requirements and we will be able to produce a surprise meal of quality and freshness for you. Directions
• On leaving M1 at J29, take the 2nd exit at the roundabout onto the A617 Chesterfield
• Follow road (By-Pass) to roundabout take the 2nd exit
• Follow road to roundabout and take the 2nd exit and keep in your left hand lane (Lordsmill Street)
• Follow road (St Mary’s Gate) into the town centre, passing the Crooked Spire
• Follow road (Holywell Street), at traffic light get into the right hand lane follow road
• At the traffic lights on the roundabout move into the left-hand lane (Multi-Storey car park).
• Follow road round signposted Sheffield to mini roundabout (Jet Petrol Station)
• Take the 1st exit sign posted Barlow, Cutthorpe and Newbold (B6051).
• Buckingham’s is 800 yards along this road on your right, just after the zebra crossing
