This attractive whitewashed cottage was built in 1840 for the local basket weaver, hence the name. In 1991, the present owners completely restored and refurbished the property and Weaver’s Lodge is now an immaculate and well thought-out guesthouse retaining many of the original features such as beams, leaded windows and a recently exposed fireplace in the guest dining room.
