Within the landscaped grounds of Forest Side lies the converted coach house, Grasmere Lodge, for those who want the advantages of Self Catering accommodation. The five oaked beamed open plan apartments each sleep 2-4 guests. The emphais here is on relaxation, which is why the price tariff includes complementary passes to an exclusive health and fitness club. Apartments have one bedroom with either twin or double beds, a large lounge, (with a bed settee which converts to a double bed), a kitchenette that includes a cooker, microwave, fridge and storage space. There is either a shower or bath, and a separate toilet. All apartments have colour TV and direct dial telephones.

Directions Travelling from the south Take the M6 to Junction 36. Follow the A591/A65 in direction of Kendal. Bypass Kendal bt staying on the A591. Drive through Windermere, Ambleside, and Rydal. As you appoach Grasmere go straight across the roundabout. We are about 3/4 mile along the A591 on the right, just as the speed limit changes to 30 miles per hour.
