With Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy in FIFE on its doorstep Hollytree B&B enjoys the tranquility of a country village. Easy to find we are only 1/2 a mile from the A92. 1/2 hour from St Andrews and Edinburgh. We are situated in the rural village of Coaltown of Balgonie. Our accommodation consists of two double bedrooms one with En-suite and the other with a shower, and a separate bathroom. The facilities in the rooms consist of a hospitality tray with tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, Satellite tv, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Our Scottish breakfast is renowned for its quality and quantity; indeed some of our guests say that it is one of the best in Scotland. If we are given notice we can cater for any special diet. We welcome all nationalities. Indeed we have had Guests from Australia, Canada, Pakistan, Iraq, Sweden, Germany, Ireland, Austria,the good old U.S of A. and Japan to name but a few. Close to Edinburgh, Perth, St Andrews and Dundee, you can plan your break to include visits to some of the 21 Golf Courses within 1/2 hours drive. Windsurfing,Swimming,Cycling,Walking are all available close to the village. Directions Our location in Fife is very easy to find. 1) From the Forth Bridge come of the M90 at junction 2A signposted Kirkcaldy/Glenrothes A92 2)Follow signs to Glenrothes, at the Bankhead roundabout take the 6th exit signposted Coaltown of Balgonie B9130. Carry on through two small roundabouts into the village. 3) We are 1/2 mile from the Bankhead roundabout in the village on the corner of Main Street and Forresters Gait.
