Ellistrin is surrounded by a large garden in which guests are invited to wander. There is off street parking beside the house. This is a peaceful location on the edge of town, yet only ten minutes walk from High Street and all local facilities. Hawick is ideally located as a centre for visiting the historic Scottish Borders with its abbeys, castles and stately homes, or for the more energetic pursuits of hillwalking, golfing, or cycling. Many of our visitors come to seek out their Scottish roots, or to visit and purchase from the selection of local cashmere and other knitwear factories. Our rooms have en suite facilities, TV, and a welcome tray. Breakfast times are arranged with visitors the night before, and breakfast consists of a buffet selection from the sideboard with a menu offering a variety of hot food cooked to order.

Directions Ellistrin is to be found along the A698 road leading out of Hawick to Jedburgh and Kelso. From the town, we are the third street on the right after the roundabout at Morrison's Supermarket, and, coming into town, we are the fourth street on the left after the 30 mph speed limit begins.
