The Bar Restaurant, with wonderful sea views, serves traditional home-cooked lunches, ideal for those with hearty appetites, whilst the oak-panelled Restaurant 1563 offers fine dining in the evening. Directions From London and the South East: From the M25, exit at junction 28 onto the A12. Follow to north of Ipswich and then take the A1094. Local signposting will take you into Aldeburgh. From the Midlands: Take the A14 or join it at the most convenient point. Follow to Ipswich and pick up the A12 (north). Directions as from London/South East then apply. ...and by Rail: The closest station is Saxmundham, which is six miles away and only two hours from Liverpool Street. Taxis can be arranged from the station.
