Our listed Georgian house faces the village green of Folkingham, Lincolnshire’s most handsome conservation village. A warm and comfortable family home elegantly furnished in period style, The White House is filled with flowers, pictures and books, and retains many original features. Bedrooms, with antique four-poster, king-size or twin beds, are spacious and well-equipped. All bedrooms are provided with hairdryers, radios, plenty of books and magazines, mineral water and a well-provisioned tea and coffee tray. Of course you are welcome to use our ironing and drying facilities, or indeed anything else you may require. Our guests are welcome to relax in the walled garden, or by one of the open fires in Winter. Healthy, generous breakfasts are included, and dinners can be provided by arrangement.
There is plenty of space for parking, and livery is available five minutes’ walk away.

Breakfast is served in the dining-room. There is always fresh fruit salad and orange juice, porridge, cereals, homemade marmalade, local bacon and sausages hot from the Aga, or perhaps scrambled eggs with smoked salmon or kippers. We serve good Italian coffee, a range of teas and hot chocolate.
You can take advantage of my pub-restaurant booking service for dinner (there are several good ones nearby,) or you can arrange to dine here. My cooking is fresh, seasonal, local whenever possible, and I am happy to cater for special diets.
