Solent View has been carefully renovated to provide you with beautiful rooms in a Victorian house, a warm welcome, and an enjoyable stay. Nearby there are good restaurants and local pubs. There are also many pleasant walks in the area both through the countryside and along the shore which overlooks the Isle of Wight. A local ferry service runs during the day to Hamble, a pretty village with cobbled streets, bordering on the banks of the River, where there are attractive shops and many places to eat and drink.

You can get your bargains at Whiteley Village our local outlet shopping centre which boasts many famous name shops and a short drive to Portsmouth takes you to Gun Wharf Quays, for more outlet shopping, eating and a wonderful view of the Solent and Portsmouth Harbour.
The New Forest is just down the M27 taking you to the famous towns of Lymington, Lyndhurst and Ringwood. You could stop off at Southampton and take a walk along the old walls, or maybe a free guided tour with Southampton’s Titanic Trail (they have many others too).

Directions
Off the M27 Junction 9, take dual carriageway towards Fareham West, take 3nd left on the large roundabout (A27 Fareham), follow road to next roundabout, take 4th exit (Warsash Road), at mini roundabout take 1st exit (Warsash Road). Follow road until you see a mini roundabout ahead of you, Solent View is just before the roundabout on the right hand side behind the two fir trees. We are also just a short taxi ride away from Fareham Railway station.
