We are just 4 miles from Settle and 12 miles from Skipton. The inn offers magnificent views of the peaks of Pen-y-ghent and Ingleborough. You can dine in 'Harlequins', our lovely conservatory restaurant with its delightful collection of ornamental clowns or in the 'Oak Room' which has original oak-panelling and leaded-light windows. Our cosy bar features a unique collection of shoehorns and has a real fire, oak beams and an excellent choice of Yorkshire brewed hand-pulled ales.

The Plough Inn has Visit Britain 2 star rating and has 9 very comfortable and well-appointed, country-style en-suite rooms, a few of them featuring the original oak beams. Twin, Double, Four-Poster and Family rooms are available. Rooms on the ground floor have extra wide doors offering easy access. All rooms are equipped with Tea and Coffee making facilities, Clock/Radio, Colour Television, Hair Dryer and Electric Panel Heaters that can be individually adjusted. We specialise in Short Breaks - cheaper deals are available for stays of 3 or more nights. Romantic Breaks are also offered which include a bottle of champagne, fresh flowers and chocolates.

If you choose to dine with us, you can select your meal from our traditional Bar Menu, our unique ‘Sizzle’ Gourmet Sausage Menu or our more sophisticated ‘Limited Edition’ Menu. Our Dessert Menu offers plenty of delicious choices to complete your meal. A number of vegetarian meals are included in our menus and special diets can be catered for on request. Whenever possible we source from local suppliers. We regularly feature Adrian Proctor’s organic lamb, born and bred in the fields surrounding Wigglesworth and free-range rare breed pork from The Blue Pig Company of Long Preston. Our sausages are hand-made by Jackson’s of Cracoe and our cheese board features cheeses made in the Yorkshire Dales. We are renowned for our breakfasts and are a member of the Deliciouslyorkshire Breakfast scheme which guarantee’s that the majority of produce served at breakfast is sourced from local suppliers within Yorkshire.
