There are a variety of restaurants within a short walk of the Bed and Breakfast – the closest (3 mins walk) being a typically English pub, which serves home cooked meals at reasonable prices. Within a 10 minute walk are wine bars, a French, Indian and Chinese restaurants and a fish and chip shop.

All rooms are bright, clean and comfortably furnished, equipped with a television, hairdryer and tea and coffee tray. Guests can enjoy a continental or full English breakfast each morning, including home made marmalade. Our house has wireless should you have a laptop. I also have a computer with Internet access available for my guests to use.

The village with its green and duck pond is famous for the Oxford and Cambridge boat race, and the London Wetlands Centre. It is within easy reach of Wimbledon tennis. Twickenham Rugby stadium is a short train ride away. Also within close proximity are historic Richmond upon Thames, Richmond Park and Roehampton University, as well as Queen Mary’s University Hospital. Entertainment at the Hammersmith Apollo is a short bus ride away.

Directions
The house is just a short walk away from Barnes Station, which is a 17 minutes train ride from Waterloo Station in Central London's South Bank, easy access to the Houses of Parliament, Tate Modern, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Oxford Street and all the major attractions. Buses stop at the end of the road taking you to Hammersmith for the tube trains – District, Piccadilly and Hammersmith and City Lines, (Piccadilly 20 minutes and Heathrow 40 minutes, Harrods 15). Busses also stop here for Richmond, Putney, Roehampton and Wimbledon.
