This part of the North east coast is studded with places of historic interest. Holy Island (Lindisfarne) is only 15 mins away by car with its Priory, Castle, Harbour and grey seals on a good day.
Castles abound and of course the Farne Islands are a 'must see' location with the famous puffins and other nesting birds.
